Until now, I only know two different states concerning love:

Incel and Inrel.

While the former term should be quite known by now, the latter is totally made up.

As I wrote before, I never knew how I got into relationships or out of them.

Inrel refers to being involuntarily hooked up to another human being. Which is the better state, because you get laid sometimes.

Around the turn of the century I’d had a passionate on and off affair with a married woman, and, honestly, I can’t remember how or why we broke up.
