Thank you, this article again is a game-changing eye-opener to me. Friends and colleagues have told me time and again I have an aura of intensity and they had been initially repelled by it. Another piece of the puzzle of my incelity seems to fall into place, because I can relate to all of the article, except me being aware and coping. The one most valuable lesson I take from this, though, is being more patient with people claiming they are bored. I had always thought, boredom lies in one's own responsibility, judging bored people harshly. Seems I did them wrong.
I always liked the X-Men most of all superheroes, because they struggle to live happy lives with their powers. Emotional intensity feels just like that, a super power not everyone has, that could destroy the whole neighborhood, or save the world.
